BBB is also once again offering Student of Integrity Scholarships to high school students in Minnesota and North Dakota who are starting their senior year, and demonstrate – through essay or a short video – the impact ethical decisions have made in their lives. Five scholarships are available this year, with a top prize of $4,500 being awarded. Scholarship money can be applied toward winners’ post-secondary education expenses at any accredited institution. This year’s deadline to apply is Thursday, September 22 at 4:30 p.m.
Ross Bernstein, best-selling author and award-winning speaker, will be the keynote speaker. He’ll be sharing “The Champion’s Code: Building Relationships Through Life Lessons of Integrity and Accountability from the Sports World to the Business World.”
BBB presents Torch Awards for Ethics each year to for-profit companies owned or operated in Minnesota and North Dakota that display integrity in all aspects of their operations. Nominees are offered the opportunity to submit an entry to BBB, where a panel of independent volunteer business and community leaders review the entries and choose the winners. Nominees must be in good standing with BBB; however accreditation is not a requirement to compete for the award.
