Cyber Security Summit Returns To Minneapolis October 23

BBB promotes half-day event for small to mid-size businesses

Better Business Bureau® of Minnesota and North Dakota (BBB) is once again a proud supporter of Cyber Security Summit 2017, which will be held October 23-25 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Summit brings business leaders and experts in IT and cyber security together, along with representatives from academia, government and law enforcement, to pool knowledge and resources and offer solutions to the growing menace of cyber threats. Poor cyber security practices negatively impact our society on multiple levels.

As part of this year’s Cyber Security Summit, there’s a special half-day event targeted at small to mid-size firms, businesses not large enough to have dedicated resources to manage their online security strategies. This half-day event takes place from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24. Registrants get 10% off by using Code BBB17 when registering at cybersecuritysummit.org/small-business-summit.

“The Cyber Security Summit grows in importance with each passing year,” said Lisa Jemtrud, Director of BBB’s Educational Foundation. “For area business owners, the half-day Cyber Security for Small and Mid-Size Businesses event is highly recommended. We know online threats against small businesses are only increasing.”
